Guidance for Indicator Two
The Task Team is developing Guidance for Indicator Two of the GPEDC’s Monitoring Framework. Indicator Two reads “civil society operates in an environment that maximises its engagement in and contribution to development”. The intent of the Guidance is to widen and deepen a common understanding of what is meant by the four parts of Indicator Two and practically, what good practices stakeholders can implement to make progress. The aim is to collate examples, guidance, and tools, in order to offer practices that stakeholders could implement to realize the GPEDC commitments in relation to civil society.
Please see our document Development of Guidance for Indicator Two: An Invitation to Engage for more information about the background of this initiative, the rationale, a brief explanation of the Indicator Two four-module framework and a selection of examples.
To develop the Guidance the Task Team is currently seeking examples, guidance or tools from country, regional or global level that speak to one or more of the four modules of the Indicator Two framework. Please share your examples (either by providing a link or uploading documents) using the form below.
